Between end of year performances, graduations and playground celebrations, our team were kept busy for the month of June.

All aboard! We celebrated the grand opening of the new pirate playground at Our Lady of Victories’s Infant School, Ballymun.

The students performed a fantastic mix of sea shanties and maritime inspired melodies led by our musician educator, Niamh Crowhurst. Our Trad Band were also on deck, performing a traditional Irish set for this special occasion.

Back in the city centre, our NEIC Youth Choir took to the stage to celebrate International Picnic Day in Mountjoy Square. Comprised of children from schools in the area, the choir put on a great show with a mix of modern and classic tunes for this family day out. Many thanks to our choir leaders, Bróna, Karen and Max, for all their hard work rehearsing and prepping with the kids for this special event. We look forward to many more events with City Connects and the NEIC in the future!
